Claims Specialist-Flooring Services

SUMMARY: If you are a highly motivated and positive individual who enjoys working in a fast-paced environment this could be the right career move for you. In this position the employee will work most of the day handling the invoicing of work orders and submitting them to the builders. You must have a strong attention to detail and ability to work as a team and independently.
OVERVIEW OF YOUR DAILY TASKS:
- Receives claims notification of defective materials and/or installation
- Verifies all supporting documentation (samples, pictures) to claim is provided
- Sets up vendor/independent inspections of home
- Schedules movers in consultation with homeowner to vacate home while re-installation is performed
- Communicates with all other departments to process and schedule re-installations
- Calculates total of claim and processes charge-back for vendor
- Uploads related data in shared drive
- Ensures claim is noted on accounting spreadsheet for correct daily credits
- Maintains high level of customer service when interacting with new home owner
SKILLS/EXPERIENCE TO HELP YOU SUCCEED IN THIS ROLE:
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills; prefer bi-lingual English/Spanish
- Attention to detail is a priority; must remain focused on minute data
- Ability to multi-task; handle details
- Proficiency in use of computer skills for data entry; prefer use of RFMS.
- One to two years of working in an office environment and prefer one year of purchasing
